Modification Corner : Yamaha Nouvo 1st Gen. - Malang

Hello again people, this is my first post in English and also my first post about real life modification.
Hope you enjoy it, and really sorry for my bad English or typos... since it is my first time and I'm not an expert in English :P

Back to main topic, here are photos taken days ago near my house at PBI Malang. This bike belongs to Lisen, a friend of mine (also a neighbor). It is 2002 Yamaha Nouvo, the first automatic CVT bike introduced in Indonesia. At its first introduction, this bike has unfamiliar body styling and most of all, the transmission of course. In the days when mopeds ruled the roads of Indonesia, Yamaha tried to give an alternative to daily riding activity, instant twist and go without bothering your feet to do the shifting and braking. Sounds lazy but if you jumped onto this bike, you'd know how great it was.

It's owner has made a major plastic surgery to this machine (seriously :)). This new design has drawn from scratches and took over five years to complete this bike. First of all, it received engine treatment, porting & polishing, racing cam-shaft, a bore-up kit (was 150 and now left at 125cc), new CDI, YZ125's coil, and CVT kit. Later then the plastic surgery took place. Original (old styled) gold body kits have been replaced by new red-white combination hand-made plastic body kits. The front face referred to Ducati 999 with its iconic round head light. The ducati also left another touch on the tail section. Yes, it came with a custom undertail massive exhaust pipe; one big oval pipe, two exhaust holes. Unfortunately it produced enormous heat that back seat passenger couldn't afford. So my friend decided to change it into single-seater. Final touch, replaced the original spoked rims with casting wheels imported from Malaysia.

Oops, sorry. I forgot to mention, it had double rear shock absorber at the rear, but the design concept couldn't stay with the existing doubles. So, they were taken off and got replaced by single shock absorber. Mono-shock middle mounted, as we could say. Now it looks waaaaayyy prettier than it was. Marvelous!

But is there any of you can mention how the undertail muffler attached and connected to exhaust engine port? It might the most difficult part of this modification, since the engine is moving along with the rear wheel. The muffler as we all know should be a part of the movement sequence. You can find it on pictures above :D
